It’s a rainy Saturday. It’s raining a lot and Nykolle and her family are spending the afternoon at home. Her uncles are visiting them. Nykolle and her father are in the living room. Nykolle is making a draw and her father, Mr.Harris, is surfing the net. They are also talking. Nykolle’s older brother, Peter, is in his bedroom playing computer games. He is a computer fanatic and he spends much time playing on the computer. His little brother, Jim is also in the living room. He is playing with his dinosaurs’ collection. Sometimes he teases Nykolle, he is a really naughty boy.

Hello, we are Carlos and Vanessa from "High School Musical” the United States and we are going to travel to Colombia in June! We are going to stay in Valledupar for one week. We are going to visit some friends there and we are going to have a lecture at Vajamar Hotel; at night we are going to have a concert at Alfonso Lopez Square on June 19th. We are going to visit "La Pilonera" and some others monuments and we are also going to have lunch in Rincon Paisa restaurant. We are going to stay at “Carrillo Luques" library for about 4 hours and after we are going to visit Ebenezer School; then we are going travel to Bogota city on June 24th and we are going to visit the “Monserrate". We aren’t going to travel to Medellín because of problems of time but maybe next opportunity. We are also going to buy some souvenirs; we want to remember Colombia for the rest of our lives.

EARTH' S TEMPERATURE
The world is now warmer than at almost any time since the end of the last ice age and of the last ice age and, on present trends, will continue to reach a record high for the entire period since the dawn of civilization, a study has found. The study published in the journal Science, aims to give a global overview of Earth's temperatures over the past 11,300 years - a relatively balmy period known as the Holocene that began after the last major ice age ended and encompasses all of recorded human civilization

Their data (compiled by studying such things as ice cores, fossils and ocean sentiment) looked back over a much longer era than previous research, which went back 1,500 years. Scientists say it is further evidence that modern-day global warming isn't natural, but the result of rising carbon dioxide emissions that have rapidly grown since the Industrial Revolution began roughly 250 years ago.

Every year many young people finish school and then take a year off before they start to work or to go to college. Some of them go to another countries and work as volunteers . Volunteers give their time to help people, for example they work in hospitals or they help in conservation.
